BLANES, Spain — Could perhaps 27, 2015 — At the investors general meeting held on Saturday, 25th of May afternoon, Montefibre has just completed the purchase of Montefibre Hispania S. A. by Praedium, the investor group owner to Nylstar. The group, chaired by Alfonso Cirera Santasusana has invested second million euros in a capital build to obtain 90-percent of the fiber rewriter in Burgos (Spain). Italian Montefibre S. p. A. will keep the rest of the 10 percent. With this signing, Cirera is regarded as appointed President of Montefibre Hispania S. A.. and Rovira will stay as CEO of the firm. Praedium hopes to repeat the same milestones possible with Nylstar, currently the head from the fashion group. Nylstar focuses the device's activities in developing premium polyamide yarns and premium polyamide sheets worldwide known under the brand Meryl®.
The Montefibre project stands even on a powerful strategy to revive its complete Leacril® and hence guarantee the continuity in addition rentability of the Spanish plant within the foreseeable future. This strategy will be executed in second phases. On the one hand, the reopening on the acrylic plant and relaunching the device's commercial network. On a second place, an investment of 100 million pounds to create a Spanish carbon fiber products producer, for the purpose the group is seeking strategic spouse.
With the reopening of the acrylic grow plants, Montefibre will market again the device's brand Leacril, known in more as compared with 48 countries and one of its best assets.
